Armature Works

Wow what a weekend it has been! If you have been following me you know that I love all things food almost as much as fashion. The hubby and I spent the morning and afternoon in Tampa at Armature Works. For those of you who don’t know, it’s a new fully restored mixed-use building that breathes new life into the historic Tampa Heights neighborhood. On top of the amazing weekend the weather could not have been better.

Definitely a place to visit while in Tampa, the building is like a restored industrial spot that has a rustic modern feel. Take pics on the greenery, play cornhole, or just enjoy the scenery! The warehouse has something for everyone, and there’s so much green space and walking outside/ around Armature that you could spend more time there (than just food).

We explored all the options just to see what they had to offer. The bakery was absolutely amazing and mouth watering. There are many places to eat inside (bbq, ramen, açaí bowls, Cuban, empanadas, some nicer white linen dining options too) and a few places to shop.

This place is simply beautiful…perfect for a date or day out with friends. It is kid and pet friendly as well. You can have cocktails in the courtyard and enjoy the breeze. Parking is free if you get there early, otherwise I think it was $5 when we were leaving around 2:00 pm.

We ate at the Cuban restaurant called Hemingway’s. I had a traditional Cuban and Jim had the steak sandwich. We both sampled the black beans for our side. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented.

They even had this super cute candy store. I mean really, who can pass up a candy store? My spring top is only $16.49 at Zaful.
